Çevre bilinci konusunda farkındalık yaratmak, İstanbul’un tarihi ve kültürel değerlerini çevreci bir bakış açısı ile güzelleştirmek, iyileştirmek ve sürdürülebilirliğini sağlamak amacıyla kurulan federasyonumuz, olağan toplantısı için İstanbul TZL Suites’te bir araya geldi. Toplantıya, Onursal Başkanımız Av. Tunay Gürsel, Genel Başkan Bülent Sarıgül, Birinci Başkan Profesör Doktor Uğur Özgöker, Turizmden Sorumlu Genel Başkan Murat Tüzel katıldı. Toplantıda İSTÇEF’in 2023 dördüncü çeyreğinde gerçekleştirilecek ve uygulanacak yeni projeler üzerinde planlamalar yapıldı. Küresel ısınmanın önlenmesi, çevreye duyarlı sanayileşmeye uygun projeler üretmek ve daha yeşil ve karbon ayak izinden uzak projelere ağırlık verildi.
İstanbul Çevre Konsey Federasyonu Onursal Başkanı Av. Tunay Gürsel, açılış konuşmasında “2003 yılında kurlulan Federasyonumuzun çevre bilinci aşılamada, farklı bakış açısı ve öncü atılımlarıyla her zaman kendisinden söz ettireceğini Burada yer alan tüm İSTÇEF yönetim kuruluna katıklarından dolayı teşekkürlerini dile getirdi.
Toplantıda söz alan Genel Başkan Bülent Sarıgül: ” İstanbul Çevre Konseyi Federasyonu olarak, her zaman olduğu gibi çevreye daha duyarlı, daha yeşil bir İstanbul hedefliyoruz. Geçtiğimiz aylarda büyük bir ağaçlandırma projesi ile atıl olan arazilerin gelecek nesillere daha yeşil bir çevre oluşturması için ilk tohumlarını attık.Federasyon olarak çevre için attığımız her adımdan büyük mutluluk duyuyoruz. ” diye konuştu. Bülent Sarıgül ayrıca 2023 yılı son çeyreğinde planlanan projelere daha fazla ağırlık verileceğini, bunun için yönetim kurulunda yer alan tüm arkadaşlarımızın büyük bir çaba ve özveri gösterdiğini söyledi.
Turizmden Sorumlu Başkanımız Murat Tüzel ise “Türkiye’nin müthiş bir coğrafyaya sahip olduğunu, değerlendirilmesi ve koruma altına alınması gereken önemli bölgelerin yer aldığını belirtti. İstanbul’un ve Türkiye’nin bir çok bölgesini ziyaret eden ve bu konuda araştırmalar yapan Tüzel, Turizm alanında İstanbul ve Türkiye’nin bu yıl büyük bir atılım yapacağına inandığını belirtti. Kaçak yapılaşmaların çevreye verdiği rahatsızlığı ve kirliliği de dile getiren Tüzel, Federsyonumuz önce daha yeşil ve ardından da daha yaşanabilir daha temiz bir doğa planladıklarını söyledi. Tüzel, ayrıca martın ilk haftası Almanya’da gerçekleşen ITB Berlin Turizm fuarına katılarak turzim alanında gerçekleştirilen son yenilikleri ve daha çevre dostu teknolojileri yerinde inceleyerek yurda döndü.
Birinci Başkan Prof. Dr. Uğur Özgöker ise Yurt içinde ve yurtdışında birçok projenin ön görüşmelerinin yapıldığını, bu görüşmelerden son derece memnun kaldığını belirtti. Yabancı kuruluşlarla ortak projelere imza atılabilecek projeler üzerinde yoğun çalışmalarının devam ettiğini söyledi. Göker ayrıca, İstanbul Çevre Konseyi Federasyonu’nun doğaya olan ilgisi ve saygısının yurt dışında yer alan benzer kurumlarca büyük ilgi gördüğünü belirtti.
